1. Make sure your toothpaste is low-abrasive.
We need our toothpaste to be abrasive enough so that it does its job, but some high-abrasive toothpaste can do more than just clean our teeth and actually remove their enamel. Instead of reading labels and searching around the label to see what they’re made of, there’s another trick you can use. Simply take a small piece of foil and rub some toothpaste on it. Rinse the foil thoroughly and examine it to see if there are any scratches left behind. The number of scratches will depend on how abrasive your toothpaste is.
