8. Parsley
Parsley is a source of antioxidants and flavonoid, apigenin, vitamin K, folic acid, vitamin C, and vitamin A. Half a tablespoon (a gram) of dried parsley contains a whole lot of of lycopene. Lycopene makes the arteries harder making your heart strong, and way much more of alpha-carotene which means the more alpha-carotene consumption the more you live. As well as 83 µg of lutein+zeaxanthin and 81 µg of beta carotene which keeps your skin super healthy.
But excessive consumption of parsley should not be done by any pregnant women. It is safe to consume in normal food quantities, but large amounts may have uterotonic effects which might seem a problem.
