2. Chinese Cabbage
Our runner up position goes to the super multi-talented Chinese cabbage. It comes with many antioxidant plant compounds such as thiocyanates, carotenes, lutein, indole-3-carbinol zeaxanthin, sulforaphane, and isothiocyanates. So many for one. It also consists of Potassium, Manganese, and Iron. Potassium is the head component of cell and body fluids and helps in the regulation of the heart rate and blood pressure. Manganese is a co-factor for the superoxide dismutase and antioxidant (enzyme). Iron is required for the hemoglobin or you can say the red blood cell production. Regular consumption of foods rich in vitamin C helps the body develop resistance to the infectious antibodies.
