It’s not surprising at all that Japan is often referred to as “another planet.” You won’t find a lot of drying clothes on people’s balconies, fridge doors opening to different sides of the room, and no potholders in the kitchen. We looked online for different blogs and were able to find many helpful things that exist in Japanese homes.
10. A drain with mesh to collect hair
Lots of people know that Japanese people often take showers before taking baths. The water runs into the floor and drains away via a mesh. That mesh is designed to catch any hair in the bathwater. With Japanese people regularly cleaning out their drains, the chance of them getting clogged is low.
