As time change people change too, so there is nothing to be surprised about the person who you have been seeing one way turning to the other after a long time, things can be very painful to see but you have to let it slide over your skin and accept the reality by moving on. You do not need to tolerate things which are hurting you or are at your disfavour, move on to the other path and find someone better.
