3. Don’t expect them to be mind readers
This has to be the most foolish thing to expect from people. Nobody will know what is going on inside that mind of yours. They are not mind readers, nobody is. They won’t know what you are going through or what you want unless you speak up. One-third of the misunderstandings occurs due to lack of communications. Speak up before things get bad. If you are expecting a promotion at work then let your boss know. If you are upset at your friend, then let them know what they have done wrong. Don’t sit around idly and wait for things to happen magically. Even if it means you are the first one to speak. Just tell people and then wait for their reactions. It’s as simple as that.
