3. Ginger
Ginger is known for counteracting the effects of a diet that is high in fat. According to a study published in 2014, researchers fed rats around 25 milligrams to 75 milligrams of gingerol. Gingerol is the active compound found inside ginger. The rats were fed for 30 days daily. After the research period, it was noticed that the rats that were fed ginger contained less level of fat inside their blood compared to the rats who did not have ginger.
