1. You can’t get enough protein from a vegan diet
This is the biggest misconception people have about vegan diets as they believe meat is the only source of protein one can get. While meat is a major source of protein, one gets protein from other foods as well. Vegans get plenty of protein from plant-based foods such as legumes, beans, and tofu. These foods can give a person enough protein to remain healthy. Also, the fact that vegans need to ‘combine foods’ to get enough protein is false.
