2. The death of a loved one
Well, the loss of a relative or somebody close is a serious issue. And if you have truly lost somebody then you are well within your rights to take a few days off. But if you happen to make up somebody’s death or use the name of somebody who has been dead for well, the last five years then that might be a problem. The tricky part comes when your boss asks you how you are coping and you have zero emotions in yourself. Also, remembering whose name you have already used as an excuse before is a tricky part too. If you do play this card, make sure you don’t kill off your aunt Marry twice or three times.
