When you hold a grudge on somebody, you are basically holding back a negative emotion inside your body. And that can be bad for your health. Life goes on a whole lot smoother when you forgive somebody, even if that person never came around to apologize. Grudges and anger from past events ruin your present days. They spoil your mood and make you unhappy. Hatred and anger are two things that can be called emotional parasites; they destroy whatever joy you have in your life.  Holding onto a grudge builds up your blood pressure and can cause stress on your body. That in return can cause heart disease and have a negative impact on your health. So whatever grudges you are holding onto, let them go. Forgive those people and move on. Be happy on your own. Forgiving people does not mean you are condoning their actions, rather you are freeing yourself from the burden of a grudge.
