1. High Fructose Corn Syrup is worse than Sugar
It is actually very similar to sugar in chemical terms. Maybe consuming too much fructose corn syrup is harmful but that again consuming too much of anything is harmful. It has the same properties as sugar and should be treated as such with no real dangers in health if consumed at a decent amount.
If you can learn more about the so called unhealthy foods, you will realize that everything depends on how much you consume and what other factors are involved in your own health that supports your food intake. Basically, do not overthink about such foods and just go with the flow of whatever food makes you happy to eat.
