According to the Guide Passport Ranking Index, the Syrian passport is 110th. It is the world’s third-worst passport. Only 28 countries grant Syrians visa-free entry, including Lebanon, Dominica, Madagascar, and Seychelles. A Syrian passport holder must obtain a visa before traveling to 316 countries. That’s why passports rank so low on the global mobility scale. Syrians must apply for a visa in advance for significant locations, including the USA and the EU. Visa applicants must show proof of finances and a return flight ticket.
