Sometimes, it becomes very annoying to scroll down the contact list while trying to find the number we need to dial among so many of them. So what you can do is to make separate groups for the contacts. For example, you can create a group naming it Friends and add all your close friends whom you frequently call. Also, make a separate group for all your family members. You can also hide some contacts which you might not want to see in the list.

By opening the Phone app, tap on the Groups link. Then uncheck the boxes for those contacts you don’t even want to see in the list. This can actually help you in consuming less time with scrolling and searching for any particular contact. However, the hidden contacts can be accessed any time you want.
