We might be the last generation of kids that grew up in households that had phonebooks. In fact, we are the last generation of kids to have seen the last phonebooks in a public spot or a house. With the advancement of technology, phone books are becoming a relic as you can literally store thousands of contacts in your phones. Our kids will probably not see a phonebook, at least not one that is still in use. They might look at it and think of it as an ancient magical book filled with numbers from all across the city. They won’t know the fun of randomly coming up with a number of the books to do some prank calls.
