Alcohol consumption is very profitable in many ways. When you are always drinking alcohol, you develop this dependence on it. If you stop consuming all of a sudden then you will go into withdrawal and have a difficult time stopping yourself from drinking again. When people are drinking they tend to do stuff that normally they wouldn’t do when sober. For instance, they would gamble, buy things that are not needed, get tattoos done, bet on certain things and so on. This type of behavior is a source of income for a lot of organizations. So people are more willing to get others drunk or at least make them drink till they lose their sense of sensibility.
