5. Google
Larry Page, co-creator of Google had an incredible dream in 1996 where he downloaded the whole Internet. Page was a computer science student at that time and was looking for a theme for his PhD dissertation and the dream was all he needed. He immediately started working on it even though everybody around him was skeptical about it and managed to pull off the main algorithm after countless attempts and the help of his friend. Fortunate for was Google was one step away from being named Backrub.
