3. Diabetes Treatment
In the 1920s Diabetes was like an epidemic where it didn’t have any treatment and people used to die within a year at most. Frederick Banting at that time went to sleep one night and came up with this insane idea where degenerate a dog’s pancreas so the dog will be affected by diabetes then he will use a secretion from the pancreas to cure the dog from diabetes. After months of trial he finally was able to make his invention a success and created Insulin that is now needed to help patients with Diabetes.
