1. P Lovecraft’s Writing
Famous writer H.P. Lovecraft came up with this new genre of “cosmic horror” in literature which he actually came up with from nightmares that he used to have when he was a child. His stories consist of boundless unknowable horizon of space and a huge load of tentacles added to them. He started getting these nightmares of terrifying figures since he was 5 years old. He described the figures as black, lean, rubbery things with barbed tails, bat wings, and no faces and they played cosmic volleyball with him. Thus, he came up with the habit of drawing his nightmare monsters and later turned them into vivid mythological stories about them.
