5. They ask questions that are thoughtful
People like you when they know you are listening to them carefully and at the same time paying attention to their thoughts. Some people make the mistake of asking questions that do not really mean much. I have examples of unthoughtful and thoughtful questions. Consider the following scenario. You and I are at a party and I tell you I recently read an article on green energy. Here are some unthoughtful questions you can ask me:
Was it a good article?
Do you usually read a lot of articles?
Where did you read it?
Do you enjoy reading?
And here are some thoughtful questions to ask:
Can green energy really replace the traditional energy sources and be workable at the same time?
Why do you think the world is still behind in utilizing green energy more?
What are some countries that are successfully drawing their power from green energy?
