Yes, I know it saddens everyone to see French fries in the list. Arguably one of the most delicious and common food all around the world, French fries compliments almost all kinds of foods. Sometimes we don’t even realize how much we consume fries but it is one of those foods that have a serious effect on the belly. Based on a couple of research, people who regularly ate French fries gained over three pounds over the course of the year. Not only that, these people gained around fifteen pounds of belly flab just from eating fries. That is actually a scary fact.
Alternative- Replace French fries with homemade sweet potato fries. Slice a sweet potato into strips, spray some coconut oil over them and add salt, pepper and garlic powder before putting them in the oven. Take them out once they are cooked all crispy. It tastes good and is good for the health. If you are dining out, then ask your waiter to replace fries with a side of salad. This way you won’t be having fries outside or at home. You can tone down that belly in no time.
