1. Toilet Terrorism
Things got so intense after the 9/11 that people started getting frantic even with the weirdest issues. At the Bay Area Rapid Transit system [BART] the authorities started to worry that the terrorist would target them and place bombs inside the toilets. As a result, they shut down all the subway toilets till further notice. While normal commuters could finish their excreting elsewhere, the homeless people who lived in the subway couldn’t do so. Instead, they would defecate all over the subway including in the escalators. The escalators would chew up the feces and cause a massive electrical problem at BART. The problem was so huge that the whole BART was shut down. The authorities’ fear regarding the bomb was so much that instead they ended up creating a biohazard problem.
