12. Let your Hair Down
Let your hair down refers to relax or to be at ease. An elaborate hairdo from the Persian nobles was very much expected and it risked condemnation from their peers if they didn’t have anything done. Some of this hairdo were very time-consuming and was a relaxing ritual for aristocrats to finally let their hair down once they got back home.
