1. Come with an unwinding routine

You can build up a habit of doing a few specific activities before going to sleep every night. Gradually, your body will associate these activities with sleep and naturally make you sleepy. These activities can be anything that makes you feel relaxed and calm. Reading books or magazines, doing crossword puzzles on the newspaper, pursuing hobbies like knitting or crafting, meditating or practicing relaxing yoga are a few ways to help you unwind.
