1. ProRes
ProRes is only available on the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max, and it can only be used in the Camera app’s Video mode. You can’t use Cinematic Mode, Time-Lapse, or Slow-Mo with it. If you go to Settings on your iPhone 13 Pro, you can choose to record ProRes videos.
Apple made ProRes available in 2007, but this is the first time it has been on an iPhone. The ProRes video format is a little hard to understand how it works on the inside. But in the simplest terms, ProRes will let you shoot high-resolution videos in a compressed format that lets you edit them in Photos, iMovie, and professional software.
It is most useful for filmmakers, video creators, and videographers who edit their videos with industry-level software. Even though this format was already used by editors and videographers, adding ProRes to the iPhone 13 will make it much easier and more accessible for regular users to edit and record high-quality videos.
