5. Older people don’t need much exercise
Although older people shouldn’t aim for extremely intense workouts, age is no reason to stop or slow down your exercise routine. Moderate exercise has several benefits for older people. For instance, it improves blood circulation, coordination and mobility. It also reduces the risk of getting a chronic disease and improves the general quality of life. Older people should go for walks, try jogging or swimming for 15-20 minutes a few times a week.
