1. Lebanese passport

Lebanese passports are among the most expensive in the world.

Cost: 1,200,000 L.L. or about $795

According to the Guide Passport Ranking Index, the Lebanese passport presently ranks 100. It is one of the world’s worst passports. Only 43 countries accept Lebanese passports, including Indonesia, Dominica, Madagascar, and Seychelles. A Lebanese passport holder must get a visa for 301 places. That’s why the passport ranks low in the global mobility score. Lebanese must apply for a visa in advance for key locations, including the USA and the EU. Visa applicants must show proof of finances and a return flight ticket.
