2. Whole Foods Is Very Particular About Language
Whole Foods is nothing if not consistent. Every branch is identical in every aspect. This must be why Whole Foods felt they needed to forbid two Spanish-speaking employees from using anything other than English while on the job, in New Mexico. After they complained about it, they were suspended. Once the news got out and people started boycotting the brand, the company simply blamed the entire incident on the offending store, claiming that the managers went against policy. Later, they revised the policy and just changed the wording so they couldn’t get sued for it. Progressive, isn’t it?
