4. Poor sleeping habits

Sleep can be tricky if you’re trying to be healthy. Too much or too less sleep can lead to weight gain. Sleeping under seven hours a day can lead to poor concentration, cravings for greasy and sugary foods, irritability and a suppressed immune system.

On the other hand, sleeping for longer than eight hours or having an irregular sleep pattern can lead to obesity. Researchers have discovered that people who sleep longer than nine hours weighed 4 kgs more than the normal weight-regardless of diet, occupation or general health conditions. Similarly, people who worked night shifts, or took long naps during the day were prone to obesity and weight gain. Try to sleep at the same time every night and avoid sleeping for longer than eight hours.
