8. Try a spinal twist
It’s good for your back muscles to stretch because it makes them stronger and more flexible in that part of your body. As a result, this could help you get rid of sciatica and any backaches you might be having.
- Make sure there’s enough space between you and the desk. With both feet flat on the ground, sit down sideways. Roll your shoulders back and bring them down to level with the ground.
- Sit up straight and twist your spine to one side until your hands reach the back of the chair and you’re sitting down. Stay in that position for about five seconds, then return to the start.
- Now, turn your body to the other side.
- Repeat this twice on each side. As you do these exercises, be sure to follow the rhythm of your breath as you move.
